Miley cyrus sex Tape is real or fake? a Facebook Scam

If you are searching "Miley cyrus sex tape is real or fake",  I gave the answer for the question in the title itself. Yes, it is an old Facebook scam.  Recently, I've post a news report about this scam in E Hacking News. I'm just going to give more details about that scam in this post.

The scam starts with a facebook post titled "[hxxp://bit.**/RoqXJM] omg i lost all respect for her now". It has a picture propagating the scam displays a closeup of the singer, apparently in a state of rapture.(Yes, it is very hot..! ).

"bit.ly" is URL shortner site that turns a long URL into a much shorter one. Most of times, cyber criminals use URL shortners for hiding their malicious site.

I visit the link provided in the post. It redirects me to "hxxp://ooyah.info/miley.php?Bu7Ga".  This page contains nothing other than a small javascript code:

The above code will redirect to "hxxps://www.mirrorgo.info/miley/?tr".  The page displays a video interface ,but in fact, it is a picture.

When  i clicked the image, it displays the following error message:

It ask users to copy and paste their Facebook authentication token. The token allows attackers to gain access to your account and spread their scam further. Once user paste the url and click the play button, it will displays the following  image:

After few seconds, it redirects to a dropbox page that ask users to complete a survey in order to watch the video.

Nicole's baby kicking video is a Facebook scam

There is new Facebook scam spreading .  The scam post:
AWESOME Video "Nicole's Baby Kicking - The Belly View - Unbelievable"
[LINK]
An amazing view of a baby kicking and moving his way out of the belly while at the beach.

There is, indeed, a real YouTube video of a heavily pregnant woman called Nicole, sunbathing on a beach. It was posted in May 2009 and has had over 3.5 million views so far.

The thing is, however, if you really want to watch the video: go to YouTube.

Don't click on the link being spread across Facebook. Because if you do, you are taken to a third-party website which insists you have to share the link with your Facebook friends before you can watch the video clip.

it was advertising the controversial Scientology organisation. One wonders if the scammers are earning revenue by driving traffic to the page.

You should always be suspicious of links like this being shared by your Facebook friends. The safest place to watch "viral" videos is on YouTube itself (and other established video websites such as Vimeo), or you could find yourself being asked to complete money-making surveys or imparting your personal information.
